Europe Preparing To Go Under Water
From the desk of Publisher/Editor Michael Knight. In previous editions of Earth Change Report we have looked at the effects of abrupt climate change on various parts of the world. We have seen that floods and rising sea levels will impact the shorelines of every continent on the planet. In this edition, we will explore what’s in store for Europe.
Not only is it headed for a major climate change when the Great Ocean Conveyor Belt stalls – giving Europe a Siberian-like climate – but much of it will be under water as sea levels rise. This is not a make-believe or fantasy scenario dreamed up by Earth Change Report for the sake of writing a drama with no facts to support it. The only area in which Earth Change Report differs with what you might call mainstream science, is that ECR shares the minority scientific viewpoint – and that is that climate change can (will) occur abruptly, rather than over decades or centuries. ECR therefore encourages a sense of urgency when it comes to preparing for such events, whereas others encourage a sense of complacency. Complacency is a very dangerous state of mind. It is lazy, it is warm and comfortable, and it is a one-way ticket.
The few who are willing to foresee the abrupt change scenario, and actually do something for themselves, are entirely different people. They are individuals. Instead of greeting disturbing news with fear (though they might recognize it as a first reaction) they make a choice to do something here and now, rather than much later, when later is too late. Individuals are the sort of people who have the balls to follow a dream. Regardless of what others say and do to dissuade them, they choose something beyond the norm, beyond the status quo. And then they go for it. As but one example of how a dream can be made to come true, you could take a moment to visit the “8th Wonder of the World.” It’s an underground temple complex carved in solid rock in Italy. But it’s not an ancient place. It was created in secret over the past 20 years or so, by a man who had a dream as a 10-year-old – and brought that dream to reality.
There are other undergrounds, or should we say undercover, situations in which other bold dreams have also been brought to reality.
“Upon graduation with a master's degree in thermodynamics from UCLA, Ben Rich (pictured) was hired by Lockheed. “In December 1954, Rich was sent to the secret research and development Skunk Works section run by Lockheed. “Later he was program manager for the SR-71 Blackbird propulsion system. "The idea to paint the high-speed aircraft's skin black, to help dissipate the tremendous frictional heat, was Rich's. "He championed the early prototypes of stealth technology and led the development of the F-117 stealth fighter. “Ben Rich stated during a 1993, Alumni Speech at UCLA: ‘We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects and it would take an Act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity...Anything you can imagine, we already know how to do.’"
And that was 1993 - 40 years after Rich joined the Skunk Works. How far have we come since then? What do ‘they’ know that we don’t know? More importantly, what do they know that we do not want to know? Is there an awareness in the circles of the ‘secret governments’ (mentioned briefly in the media after the 9/11 incident in the United States) that bunkers equipped with super-secret technologies are essential in order to hide from man-made and natural disasters? Man-made disasters would include the currently looming insanity of using nuclear weapons to start a war that is intended to stop a nuclear war. But there might be something more self-destructive than that – such as starting a war with a more advanced off-world civilization. Granted, that looks like imagination run riot. But if, according to Ben Rich, star travel is a piece of cake (“we already have the means to travel among the stars”) then there absolutely is an awareness at certain levels of the genuine existence of Extra Terrestrial civilizations.
While many suffer from cognitive dissonance (a refusal to accept the facts in spite of overwhelming evidence) there are many others who have become comfortable with this knowledge – the knowledge that some of these civilizations have a low-level agenda, while others are far more advanced than we are.
To put that in perspective – as Dr Miceal Ledwith does in Contact Has Begun” – "they” are just like “us.” "Some love us, and some do not. Just like here." James Gilliland (pictured during filming "Contact Has Begun" at his ECETI sanctuary) has had contact with those who love us. In his own words:

Dreams Come True: So here we have an underground temple built on the dream of a 10-year-old – a child who remembered a previous life in Egypt, became a successful businessman in Italy, and fulfilled his dream. It took him many years. But he persevered. He also had help (dreams often require a cast of characters) - and, one blow of the pick-axe at a time, they carved that dream out of solid rock.
The dreams appear at first glance to be polar opposites. One was a dream of a temple – which we associate with the higher and better aspects of ourselves and humanity. The other led to the development of a fleet of fighters and bombers that are no more than weapons of mass destruction carrying weapons of mass destruction. But here’s the point, or the moral of the story. In this world which we now know is changing faster and more dramatically than even the wildest imagination could have conceived of just a few years ago…the future might very well look like a nightmare. And it will indeed be that for those who are asleep, unaware, disinterested, doubtful or indeed skeptical. However, if a 10-year-old can dream a temple and build it…then any individual can dream a future beyond these earth changes. A future which will include interaction with civilizations that long ago left Stealth technology in their dustbin of history. Just as the participants in the temple dream - and the Stealth dream - projected their minds forward to the physical completion of their dreams, we too can mentally picture our future.
Like chess players who envision moves and counter moves before they touch a pawn or rook we too can use our minds to evaluate what we know as our present reality (where the pieces are now) and what we can do to shape our future - where we will move our knights and bishops – or even our selves – to create the future we desire. But first, we need that information about both the present, and those possible futures. Which brings us to Europe’s future, as it is seen by scientists today.
European Union Sea Level Rise Projections
European scientists have come up with a future scenario based on projected rising sea levels.(See animation)
Being mainstream, and once again touched by the trembling hand of politicians whose main desire is to keep the masses calm for as long as possible, the associated text once again suggests it could take a hundred years for this to get serious. Howeever, while a documentary on climate change produced by the European Union also reiterates that it could take as much as a century for these predictions to be realized – in the same documentary, it is mentioned that the melting of the Greenland ice cap could alter that scenario very dramatically, and very suddenly. 
In last week's edition of Earth Change Report, we saw how a leaked study in Britain is predicting that many coastal villages in the UK are expected to disappear within 30 years. That is far sooner than a century from now. And the Netherlands and Europe are just across the Channel - the other side of the bathtub you might say. And water rises pretty much equally on both sides of a tub. Further - ECR considers even the 30-year scenario to quite possibly be wishful thinking. What if...what if....what if the scientists who tell us that changes can happen abruptly are right? On the other hand - as we've said before - this is not about being right, or wrong. It is about knowing possible futures - and deciding whether we want to make our move now - or later.
