Underground Safety Explained October 23, 2009 |
Greetings
In this issue: Over 2000 Subscribers; Drought Affects Millions; Deaths Rising in Philippine Floods; Earthquakes Up (again); Awesome Volcano Pics; Undergrounds for the "Elite" (video); Underground for YOU - SPECIAL FREE REPORT; Sea Birds Dying in Droves; Swine Flu downplayed to "epidemic;" Butch Gets The Piece Prize. ______________________________ Having just discovered a few minutes ago that after two years the Free Earth Change Report has cracked the 2000 mark in terms of subscribers, is it time to celebrate? Is it time to ask why 2010 people are interested in Earth Changes? No - because the reasons are clear. The world is changing very rapidly, as can be seen any time you scan the headlines and the stories from several continents. "Most days she manages to feed herself and her family two meals, but the first of these is usually black tea with sugar and the second a bowl of maize." We're talking about a widow in Kenya (her husband died of an AIDs-related disease in 2001) where close to four million people are destitute because of a four-year drought. The actual number of suffering people across East Africa itself is currently put at 23 million. Given the strange behavior of the weather all over the world, it would seem to be imperative that you at least wonder how soon droughts and floods - food shortages and chaos - will visit your place. Meanwhile, hundreds continue to die in the Philippines where many districts remain flooded after two massive storms. The deaths are now caused by leptospirosis - carried in flood waters polluted by animal and human feces.
Earthquakes of course continue to create fear and upheavals throughout the globe. There have been 12 between 5.0 and 6.2 in the last 24 hours. The 6.2 in the Hindu Kush no doubt created havoc that the media may or may not eventually report.
Volcanoes are joining the choir as well. "An analysis of records in southern Chile has shown that up to four times as many volcanic eruptions occur during the year following very large earthquakes than in other years. "This ‘volcanic surge’ can affect volcanoes up to at least 500 km away from an earthquake’s epicentre. " And in Colombia this week "The Nevado del Huila volcano in Colombia's south western department of Huila has reawakened, initially discharging ash which is predominantly affecting the indigenous communities within the surrounding area. "The Nevado del Huila volcano is Colombia's highest volcano and had been dormant for 500 years until it resumed activity in 2007. The volcano erupted again in November 2008." Awesome pics here of an undersea volcano that erupted off Tonga earlier this year.
In Indonesia, there was a brief mention earlier this week that a government agency had predicted an 8.2 or similar magnitude 'quake for this weekend - then the warning disappeared from their web site. Also in the predictive league is a suggestion that "something" of global concern or interest is due to happen around October 25/26. Hopefully it will not be the "Mag 9.0" - or greater - that scientists say the Pacific North West is due for. (Maybe I'm biased about that, since that's where we live...but many miles away from the coast and the big cities..although there are a couple of volcanoes not too far away). National Geographic has just reported that "The Pacific Northwest is one of the most dangerous earthquake and tsunami zones in the world—capable of producing magnitude 9 earthquakes followed within minutes by deadly, 50-foot (15.2-meter) high waves."
Fortunately (perhaps) residents of Cannon Beach in Oregon will have somewhere to run to - provided the 'quake and tsunami don't happen tomorrow - or in what's left of this year. That's because "When a major earthquake triggers a giant tsunami in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, as experts predict, one coastal town will be ready. Residents of the small Oregon town of Cannon Beach are preparing to build the first tsunami-resistant shelter in the U.S."
Frankly, I think we should all have access to the super duper underground facilities (Youtube Video shows all here) that have been built with taxpayer dollars - without taxpayer knowledge - to protect and shelter our taxpayer funded "special people." But no...we'll be left to fend for ourselves. So we should be doing something for ourselves immediately, if not sooner. That's why you should be thinking very seriously of your own survival...starting with the book and home study course, "Basic Preparedness." (Many satisfied customers by the way).
OR - why not take a serious look at
And by serious, I mean this is designed and built to be self-contained as an earthquake and tsunami-proof shelter, well stocked with water and food - like a super strong Hobbit house. Full and Free 9-Page report and pics by Designer John Glennie available for free download here. Really, the idea of living underground shouldn't seem so radical. It's just that we've become conditioned to buying houses at exorbitant cost - then watching them deteriorate or get blown apart in a big storm or flood. Smarter people than us long ago took to building underground cities. The advantages: Safety, stable temperature year round, and being in solid rock, they have survived for centuries. Those being discovered in Turkey (video) are now tourist attractions - but may yet be the home of the future once again. If you had a "Sea Egg" home (can be finished like a luxury yacht complete with water tight doors, private bunk rooms, showers and all) you could even use it to quarantine yourself away from all those possible swine flu carriers - or those coming to get you with their vaccination needles at the ready:-) Speaking of the sea, This just in: "A slimy foam churning up from the ocean has killed thousands of seabirds and washed many others ashore, stripped of their waterproofing and struggling for life. "The birds have been clobbered by an unusual algae bloom stretching from the northern Oregon coast to the tip of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state." Makes one wonder what's happening to the chemistry of the ocean, since it has to contend with billions of gallons of human effluent - and there's also that undersea volcanic activity out there to think about. It's a shame that thousands of birds are dead or dying because their essential oils have been washed away by that slimy foam, but let's move on now to the
"Nearly 5,000 people have reportedly died from swine flu since it emerged this year and developed into a global epidemic, the World Health Organization said Friday." Question: How come they've backed off calling it a "Pandemic"? Maybe because it isn't? And another questionable statement: "Of the thousands of people who have so far received the swine flu vaccine, the most commonly reported side effects have been soreness where the injection was given and minor flu symptoms. " That's questionable, because "side effects" (a misnomer if ever there was one) such as autism, neurological damage, Guillaine Barre syndrome and more may very well happen some time after the injection (weeks, months or more) which allows the drug companies to claim there is no connection...but that's because NO such studies have ever been done. And how about this: "A 'perplexing' Canadian study linking the H1N1 virus to seasonal-flu shots is throwing the nation's influenza plans into disarray and straining public faith in the government agencies responsible for protecting Canada's health. "Distributed for peer review last week, the study confounded infectious-disease experts in suggesting that people vaccinated against seasonal flu are twice as likely to catch swine flu." As to side effects - Germany's politicians have earmarked the better of two available vaccines for themselves - leaving their citizens to be shot with the other one. Before we move on to meet John and Butch, ask yourself, does that ring any alarm bells? It should. Now -
John was in the fertilized egg business. He had several hundred young layers (hens), called 'pullets' and ten roosters to fertilize the eggs. He kept records, and any rooster not performing went into the soup pot and was replaced. This took a lot of time, so he bought some tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone, so he could tell from a distance, which rooster was performing. Now, he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report by just listening to the bells. John's favorite rooster, old Butch, was a very fine specimen, but this morning he noticed old Butch's bell hadn't rung at all! When he went to investigate, he saw the other roosters were busy chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing, but the pullets, hearing the roosters coming, could run for cover. To John's amazement, old Butch had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one. John was so proud of old Butch, he entered him in the Renfrew County Fair and he became an overnight sensation among the judges. The result was the judges not only awarded old Butch the No Bell Piece Prize but they also awarded him the Pullet-Sur-Prize as well. Clearly old Butch was a politician in the making. Who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most highly coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populace and screwing them when they weren't paying attention. Vote carefully next year, the bells are not always audible

The way the world is going - economic turmoil increasing despite the so-called "recovery" (which some claim is a cover-up)- natural disasters also increasing - and the possibility of martiual law making frequent headlines on the internet - it makes sense to be informed. That's why this book was written. _______________________________________
