Up Front - Forward Thinking:

First, a very importantnote for regular subscribers to this free edition of Earth Change Report...and an explanation for those who've just received this in some way.

Although I've been at the writing game since 1960 and have worked internationally in all branches of “the media” I am now very far from being a mainstream journalist.

Who would want to continue being part of a profession that is nothing but a soap box for political rhetoric, biased reporting, innuendo, character assassination, war propaganda, deceit by omission and formula stories that have been the same for 50 years?

Right now, I'm restructuring my web site and focusing on increasing the reach of this newsletter.

That's why I'm asking that you pass it on (if you so choose) complete and unabridged.

That's because it is becoming increasingly obvious, at least to me, that we are getting much closer to some even more serious events than the May 12 earthquake in China – for but one example.

By no means do I consider myself to be a prophet or a guru of any kind. I am by background simply an experienced investigative journalist, which is a fancy way of saying I know how to do research, analyze data, and report (write) in layman's terms.

For a while I was writing two regular newsletters – this one, and a paid version. I have shut down the paid version because it was too time-intensive with too-few subscribers.

Better, I thought, to reach more people with the free publication so they will hopefully begin analyzing for themselves what is really ahead of us all.

By that, I mean it looks like we're in for some really abrupt events in the near future.

While I do include references to other sources, my personal work is primarily based on what scientists are studying and reporting about our changing earth - climate change, natural disasters, economics, solar flares, floods, droughts, food shortages – they're all part of the current world situation.

My chosen focus is Earth Changes – a subject which the mainstream is gradually waking up to, but still treating with kid gloves.

It's also a subject which the majority of people do not want to wake up to, because it disrupts their thinking or disturbs their daily search for cheaper gasoline, a better hair cut, or a new relationship....

Okay, yes, I've been there and done that:-) But I've also become aware that we need to start with knowing what's up, what's really up, so we can make some common sense decisions.

That's what this newsletter is about.

Granted, this one is a bit lengthy – yet if it is passed on perhaps it will encourage others to take a closer look at these subjects, then make some rational and informed choices (or ignore it all:-)

Now let's get to it.

The 95 Per Center Syndrome.

I read one of those “plucked out of thin air” statistics this week. You know, like the ones that can supposedly give you an accurate idea of how many illegal aliens there are in the USA, or how many people have AIDS, or how much the drug barons are making out of selling drugs, or what it will cost to fly a fleet of 600 refueling tanker planes 40 years from now.

It's true – most of those numbers are false.

But they get manufactured for the sake of media coverage so whatever program or subject is involved can get more funding or more attention. They're mind games, yet they're frequently very effective.

So having put what I’m about to say in perspective, I’ll just add that this number has a ring of truth to it.

It goes like this:

When exposed for the first time to the idea of a future danger, even a life-threatening one, 95 per cent of people will ignore the information. Five per cent will take action.

Supposedly only 5 per cent of the residents of Pompeii were smart enough to move away from Mt Vesuvius before it blew up and blew down the city.

That attitude is alive and well today, as in this quote from an EarthTimes story about a drastic water shortage in Cyprus: "We knew of the problems and we should have taken measures earlier - but we were hoping that it would have rained."

Sound like anyone you know who has pondered the subject of earth changes – and keeps waiting for 'proof' before doing anything?

In Cyprus, reservoirs are drying up, some people are forced to buy their water in bottles, tanker ships are bringing in millions of gallons for the main cities, agriculture is suffering... and the golf courses are flourishing.

That's right. Plenty of water for the golf courses but little or none for agriculture.

Sounds like things are 95 per cent close to normal in Cyprus – yet it may well be the perfect example of how 95 per cent of the world seems to be ignoring the global situation that is unfolding right now. We know the problems, but we're hoping for rain. ….

Broke Banks Mountin':

The banks and companies that precipitated the US housing crisis are now in crisis themselves, and there is a lot of collateral damage.

The city of San Diego in California is obviously afraid that it too will bleed through losing property taxes. “San Diego’s city attorney (has) filed a lawsuit against Bank of America Corp and its Countrywide unit to prevent the mortgage lenders from foreclosing on homes in the city, which he aims to make a “foreclosure sanctuary.”

“So far this year, 20,000 homes in San Diego County, with a population of 2.9 million, have been lost to foreclosure as borrowers fail to keep up with mortgage payments and some analysts forecast the number may rise to 40,000 by the end of the year.”

Might as well add to the over-use of the T word – Tsunami.

While banks in the US are being closed at record rates, the effects of the nose-diving world economy are spreading like a tsunami – in this case as far as New Zealand. The Canterbury Mortgage Trust has just frozen $250 million because of “an unprecedented level of withdrawal requests” resulting in people withdrawing money faster than loans are being paid back.

New Zealand house sales are also now at a 16-year low.

Meanwhile here in the States, the eighth bank to face foreclosure this year just went under – as per this letter from a subscriber who puts the event in much better terms than your average economics reporter.

“Howdy All,

“Well, the FDIC is up to their same old BS modus operandi.

“They wait until Friday night after all financial markets close to swoop in and close another failing bank. This gives them the weekend to manufacture the spin for Monday morning's market opening to make it sound like it is nothing to be concerned about.

“FDIC did this with Indy Mac Bank in Ca., First National and First Heritage in NV. and now First Priority in Florida, all within less than a month.

“I would almost bet we will start seeing bank failures every weekend in the coming weeks and months. Hmmmm, maybe the banksters are buying congressmen to sneak through some clandestine bank bail-out law to avert all these upcoming weekend public notice announcements. Nah, they couldn't possibly do that!

“I love the FDIC statement toward the end of the below article in saying that depositors with over the insured limit in their accounts will become creditors against whatever liquidation funds are generated through FDIC's sales of First Priority's "assets".

"I wonder how many pennies on the dollar those fully book valued assets are going to bring at this yard sale???

“Any wonder I have been sounding like a broken record in all my redundant emails over the last several months to get your cash out of banks? This is only the beginning of the flood of bank failures coming.

“Can any of you remember any time in your lives seeing week after week of bank failure announcements like (what is) happening right before our eyes now? One thing is for sure, we haven't seen anything yet!

“Happy Enlightened Trails” – Jim.

The FDIC insures deposits up to $100,000 – but anyone with more than that in the bank is going to be on the hind tit (oops...Kiwi-isms aren't all that pretty are they) until those 'assets' are sold - by which time the FDIC might itself be strapped for cash if it has to continue closing banks.

What “assets” are we talking about? Bricks and mortar? Buildings? Foreclosed properties that are losing value faster than you can say “sign here and bleed?”

Meanwhile, CNN would predictably have us believe the FDIC itself is safe (as safe as houses?).

Alright, ready for some advice? Not from me, but from an organization that is helping people facing foreclosure with a strategy called “produce the note.”

It's a strategy I suspect would apply anywhere in the world, so if you're in trouble with your mortgage, or want to stay out of it, check out the Consumer Awareness Network.

What they're saying is that if your mortgage company starts hassling you, ask them to “produce the note” - the document you personally signed when you took out the mortgage. Believe it or not, that note may no longer be in their possession – because they flipped off your mortgage, and the paperwork, to someone else.

And if they can't “produce the note” they don't have proof of their ownership.

From the “The Sky is Falling” department:

Last newsletter I rather flippantly introduced the subject of an asteroid that according to some people, Dr Richard Boylan specifically, is due to make a big hole in the Atlantic.

I'll repeat a brief source version here: “There is no gentle way to say this so I will just lay it out. “There is an asteroid headed on a collision course with Earth. It is 8/10 of a mile long and 6/10 of a mile wide (1.4 km long by 1 km wide). “On its current course it is due to impact in the North Atlantic this year at about 2:30-3:00 pm. EDT on November 15, 2008.

“The location of the impact zone is in the ocean at 36 degrees North Latitude and 65 degrees West Longitude, (approximately 100 miles north of Bermuda and 750 miles east of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, [on the U.S. southeast coast].)"

Now that's pretty specific don't you think?

Further (abridged) info comes from this letter sent in by a subscriber – a reply Dr Boylan sent her after she questioned him on the issue. He is calling for a “joint psychic exercise” to deflect the asteroid. “Marilyn,

“I still have to coordinate with Star Nations around the specifics of the asteroid's direction of approach, and which time they recommend for joint action.

“There is a strategic value for unawakened Humanity in accomplishing the deflection when the asteroid is proximate enough that our scientists can detect it, and Humanity in general can potentially get a blow-by-blow Hubble Space Telescope photo coverage of the asteroid before and after, if our government decides to cover this event in a non-classified manner.

“Thus, this Joint Psychic Exercise would become not only a rescue mission but a global education mission.

“In consultation with Star Nations I will develop and announce the firm, optimal date and time for the Joint Exercise.

“The combined power of thousands of Humans is not weak. When you add Star Nations technology to the exercise....then the outcome is clear....the asteroid will be diverted.

“I suggest that everyone start practicing your telekinetic ability.

“The Cabal will not be able to reach the asteroid with their ballistic missiles before it is taken care of. “In the light,” Richard Boylan, Ph.D.

Personally, I look at such info with a certain amount of skepticism. I mean, if the asteroid - if it exists - is deflected by any means whatever then Dr Boylan is right. And if it hits, he's right in one respect - but has over-estimated the power of his group's joint psychic exercise. Nevertheless, while ECR does not endorse this information it is included because, well, all things are possible. And I have heard from another source of something 'possibly' happening in the Atlantic. It's even possible to calculate the size of the crater the asteroid will make if you know the size of the incoming. Impact calculator.

Which leaves each of us to decide whether we're a 95 or 5 per center.

Earthquake Prediction:

What some people call the paranormal, is in reality the normal to some people.

_______________________

Sidebar:We all have latent potentials that we have allowed ourselves to ignore in order to fit into 'normal' society. But gradually, the news is getting out, as in this extraordinary Youtube compilation. It will give you a clue as to some of what is included in the “Mind Matters” chapters of “Earth Changes – Mind Matters.”

That in turn will help you (I hope) understand that no matter what lies ahead, we do have it within us to cope, prepare, overcome, get through, survive, and be here in 2013.

And I'm saying that also in the hope that none of the earth changes I suspect are on the way, will actually happen.

However, a prudent person would be planning a high country retreat regardless of what's coming down – somewhere away from the madding crowd, just in case things get nasty in the cities as the economy implodes.

But back to the 'paranormal' and this abridged input from a Native American shaman, Buffalo Man

“Dear loved ones,

“In a meditation this week I received a strong confirmation of a series of earthquakes, 47 minutes later the earthquake in LA happened.

“A council of 9 practitioners of various modalities convened in Lodi to share information and found that we all received information to lead us to work in blessing the SF bay area. We have begun to bless the bridges and cities in an attempt to receive the needed energy and restructuring of our own personal energy.

“I spent a number of hours in the San Jose south bay area today acknowledge the land and ask for blessing. On Saturday a few of us will repeat this process on the summit of Mount Diablo.

“In times of crisis our personal needs are put aside to join in community, our problems become smaller, and our personal dissatisfaction with ourselves diminishes.

"We ask that you move into this kind of personal energy at this time and not exam the possibility of being faced with an earthquake with fear. “It is our strong intuition that we should prepare by having 10 days worth of food and water by August 7 for possible activity on Aug.8, and 30 days supply of food for your pets. “We hope that we are merely being cautious or flat out wrong and we can laugh about this later. “With love,” - Buffalo Man Jimmy Moreno

COVERS OFF A COVER UP:

Still skeptical about UFOs? Think the video footage of UFOs in “Contact Has Begun” is fireflies or fake? (They aren't and it isn't).

Or have you rightly concluded that some of them are indeed ET craft, and some of them are top secret military vehicles.

As James Gilliland said in the DVD, our adventures into new technology are very much the result of back engineering alien technology – and this anonymous man using the pseudonym Isaac was one of those doing the back engineering investigations.

They're real, they're here - and some of them get "un-cloaked" as they pass through certain frequency fields.

Kudos for “Earth Changes – Mind Matters” e-book.

Scientific American must have watched “Contact Has Begun” and bought the ebook “Earth Changes - Mind Matters.”

How so?

This month's edition of Scientific American carries a feature article on solar storms – which both the documentary and previous Earth Change Reports have dealt with at length...and which I did a thorough update on in my new e-book, “Earth Changes – Mind Matters.”

But let's be fair – it was scientists who first raised the issue, and quite rightly, because of the potential for Solar Cycle 24 to create some very disruptive storms in the next few years.

(Are 5 per cent of you hearing this?).

I suppose my main reason for mentioning it aside from patting myself on the back for being way ahead of the mainstream is to encourage you to buy the e-book.

I'm also paying tribute to those who wrote the Scientific American article (which is a very good one) while st the same time giving you some idea of the standard and quality of “Earth Changes – Mind Matters.”

Also, the fact that the Scientific American article came out right after (after) I released my “E-pedia” (as one happy customer described the new 68-page e-book) – is really in a way complementary to my work on that subject.

But I write for the layman – the ordinary folk of the world who don't have any real scientific background. And I write about a heck of a lot more than sunspots of 1859 or 2010.

That's because scientists from many disciplines are studying everything from sunspots to ice cores to volcanoes – which are all part of the Earth Changes material we focus on here.

The difference being that “abrupt” is what we are not afraid to say, while scientists keep 95 per cent of us glassy-eyed with statistics like “millions of years since such and such...so it might be thousands of years till so-and-so.”

There's a chapter in the book about volcanoes, past present and future, including information on how we can expect a volcanic winter when they blow – and that could be very soon.

It seems like there's a mind-field among us journalists – not only did Scientific American follow up with its solar storms article, but would you believe the PBS TV program “Nova” this week presented a major documentary on the world's biggest super-volcano, TOBA, in Indonesia.

That too – along with Yellowstone, the Long Valley Caldera in California, and the potential for a one-two eruption/tsunami punch from the Canary islands is also in the e-book.

What's missing from both those media however, is any suggestion/s on how you can act like a five per center and actually be well prepared for any such event.

And that's the “Mind Matters” part of the e-book.

Here's just one testimonial: "Enjoying the book thoroughly; .... it's like an 'E-pedia' on what’s happening in front of our eyes and behind closed doors.” – Juliette. USA.

The beauty of writing an e-book is that you can send your customers regular updates (for free) and additional links as important events happen or supporting videos come up on Youtube. This is also a multi-media production – far and away more interactive, and informative, than any ordinary hard-cover book, magazine or documentary can be.

You can't update those things as events happen. But you can update an e-book almost instantly. And this e-book was put together to inform as many people as possible about what the mainstream is not willing to say openly.

That's why I'm asking you to e-mail this newsletter to your friends and contacts.

INFORMATION is one of the most essential things we need in these changing times. Everything from past present and future earth changes, to coverage of the very special Science Spirit and World Transformation conference, to how to make extra money is covered in this e-book.

I've got a suggestion in case you're in two minds about its value. Just do it - because the e-book also comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee – so you get your money back and keep the book if you don't think it's up to snuff in terms of delivering what is featured in promos like this. (Just be ethical about it, okay?).

Also, if you're mystified by the whole e-book business and need information on how to download just email me ( editor@buycontacthasbegun.com ) and I'll send you some easy-to-follow instructions.

Thank you for your time. Please "tell a friend" - and we'll resume the detailed info on earth changes next issue.

Sincerely.

Michael Knight.
