Dusty Waters September 23, 2009 |
Greetings
In this issue: Greenland Melting Confirmed. Dusty Days in Oz. Rainy Days in Georgia (but nobody's singing). Sunshine and haymaking. Horse shoeing. Concrete pumping. Blastoff (free pre-launch thing). Another free e-book (to help the faint-hearted). Gadgetman Groove Info (good for the planet).
Told ya so... The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution has just completed a month-long trip around Green;and - and found that warming waters brought from the tropics are causing glaciers to melt at an ever-increasing pace. As AP reports " the glaciers have started flowing quicker in the past decade, a phenomenon that raised alarm because it contributes to rising sea levels." Then, with the usual qualifying language, it is said "The measurements alone are not enough to conclude that the glacial melt is to a high degree driven by subtropical water. But I think the story is (starting) to come together," according to research leader Fiamma Straneo. The scientists are saying a combination of warm subtropical water, human influence and El Nino weather patterns are all implicated. What they're not saying - perhaps because they haven't realized it yet, or if they have they're certainly not going to go public - is that this is a two-way process. The sub-tropical waters are currently causing the glaciers to melt faster....and then there will come a tipping point - perhaps in the near future - when the glacial ice water will overwhelm the subtropical current...and the Gulf Stream (aka the Atlantic Current) will stall. Siberia-like conditions then descend on Europe. Quickly. (As foretold in the DVD Contact Has Begun ). Take a note: Scientists keep saying every major change is somewhere around decades to 100 years out. They were saying the same thing 10 years ago - and now, looking back, there are things they said would take a century which have happened in 1/10th of that time. How about we just expect the unexpected - and prepare for that? Were you guys in Australia prepared for the worst dust storms in 70 years - or ever? Subscriber Mark Batten writes: "This is massive. The storm is here with us in Lismore and we are 10 hours from Sydney. "It's in Brisbane and that's 3 hours north. The dust is so thick and the wind so gusting i can't work outside - well I could if I used a full-on dust mask. And we can only just see the road from the house. That's only just 100 metes visibility." Dust particles triggered over 500 false alarms to fire stations; birds were seen falling from the sky; flights into Sydney were diverted elsewhere; harbor ferries were canceled for a time - and some people were using words like "Armageddon" and "End of the World." Well, that's where Australia is, isn't it? (Which is okay for a Kiwi to say....)
Meanwhile, Georgia in the US (as opposed to Georgia near Russia) has had up to 24 inches of rain in two days. At least nine people have died in widespread flooding, and even before the waters recede, we're told damage could amount to $250 million or more. The Christian Science Monitor says one guy died trying to swim a ditch for a $5 bet: "The lesson from the Atlanta flood is that many Americans are unprepared for disaster." That's a lesson? No way. But it is a fact. A worldwide fact. Flooding has also affected Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky and North Carolina. Forecasters are warning of more heavy rain and possible flash floods. Marty J writes: I'm in the Atlanta area that was just hit with some if not the worst flooding ever! Brings to mind all of the information that you have passed on about the earth changes in store for the next few years. Thanks again."
You're welcome Marty.
And other stuff... Here in the Pacific North West we're in a spell of hot dry weather. Good enough for me to help a neighbor make hay yesterday, then make a start learning how to trim horse feet thanks to an excellent farrier (horse shoer, shoe-er, shooer..??). Bob showed me how to bend my knees and support a 1200 pound animal while facing backwards with his (the horse's) foot between my thighs. From the back. (For men, this is a really scary moment). Oink! Can't say for certain that this is what caused it, but right after visiting a friend on Monday evening (he'd just flown home from Argentina in one of those jet powered bug incubator things)I got the crud. Cider vinegar gargle, 5000 i.u. of Vitamin D, 2000 of C, half a teaspoon of aniseed (star anise, which happens to be the active component of Tamiflu)...and maybe it'll go away. (Not medical advice of course..consult your own professional etc).
That concoction seemed to knock it back enough for me to turn up at a pre-arranged job pumping concrete for a friend's stream barrier wall. The stream flooded his place last winter. I wore a mask out of consideration for the others, but immediately was "gone in 60 seconds." (They sent me home when I said "oink oink..I'm fine"). Cunning trick huh:-)
Many subscribers have responded to an earlier mailing today about a pre-launch program called Blastoff. If you haven't opened it yet the subject was "Four Day Window/US and Canada." It recommended that you go see the Blastoff pre-release video at this link then (if it appeals) join one or both lists (no obligation) at this link. Part of it is free, and part of it you pay for (and get twice the benefits or more). Anyway, I got an email like this: "There is a lot of people out there, that will not be able to get into this because lack of money in there pockets. Because other things are more important to them right now. Like paying bills, for the kids dentist, or putting food on the table for the family. "I wish you the best of luck, with your adventure. With Earth Changes, one has to put away for that rainy day. That might be just around the corner." That's quite right - about the rainy day one must prepare for. But the point about part of it being free was apparently missed. Yet that's one of the main reasons I chose to bring Blastoff to the attention of all ECR subscribers, many of whom have expressed similar concerns about a shortage of money. Seemed to me that getting money for free might help solve that issue - ahead of the rain.
There have also been people unsubscribe from ECR because they claim it is too full of fear and drama. As I've said in the past, two people can look at exactly the same sentence or article. One will regard it with fear. The other will not. Therefore, fear is something that resides in the individual - not in the information. Nevertheless, it's very important for those who do not know that fear can be overcome - in fact it must be if we are to ride out the truly abnormal circumstances that are coming - to learn how to overcome it in themselves. SO...another FREE ebook is available. Yes, there is something being offered at a price inside it...but again, no obligation to purchase. The ebook alone may be all a person needs to get over those nagging worries. Did I mention the word FREE? Why not grab this new free ebook, 22 Powerful Ways To Transform Your Fear Into Happiness, Peace and Inspiration.
That's all for now (almost). Gotta go soothe the throat (As I left the concrete job I was told a fifth of Jack Daniels would do the trick. Ever wondered where the other four fifths went to?).
Now that I'm the "Washington Gadgetman" (licensed no less to do modifications on throttle bodies and carburetors) if you're interested in a process that almost magically gives you MUCH cleaner emissions, MORE power, and LESS fuel consumption...all of which plays a BIG part in helping us to stop destroying our planet...then drop me a line with "Gadgetman Info" in the subject. Let's talk. I can hook you up with other Gadgetmen (and our first Gadget Woman - a subscriber to boot) in many states in the US, and in Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Norway too I believe. email: editor (at) buycontacthasbegun.com That'll do till I get my new Gadgetman web page set up.
Last...if you haven't subscribed to New Earth Alerts - you're missing some of the major predictions for the coming years. Sincerely. Michael Knight. Editor. Earth Change Report. (Don't forget to pass this on....your friends immediately start thinking about you....:-)
