OVER THREE HUNDRED EARTHQUAKES IN A WEEK

Starting with a 6.6 near Japan on the 12th of August, there have been 305 quakes over 4.5, 35 over 5.5 and five over magnitude 6.0,in the past week (the last of these being strong enough to shake the city of Anchorage in Alaska today).

If memory serves, that's something like more than 100 earthquakes than there were on average in previous weeks.

Interesting that we should also get yet another report about the possibility of a Mag 9.0+ in the Puget Sound region of Washington state.

"Using sophisticated seismometers and GPS devices, scientists have been able to track minute movements along two massive tectonic plates colliding 25 miles or so underneath Washington state’s Puget Sound basin.

"Their early findings suggest that a mega-earthquake could strike closer to the Seattle-Tacoma area, home to some 3.6 million people, than was thought earlier.

When they snap, scientists say, it could produce a massive 9.0 or greater earthquake and a tsunami.

Just as well I gave my daughter a three-day food kit for two. Not that she thinks I'm a terribly credible messenger about these things....oh well...I'm sure I don't have that on my own.

CALIFORNIA FIRES

In California, State fire department spokeswoman Janet Upton says the state has seen 1,153 more fires this year than last, but far less area burned.

HURRICANE BILL HURRYING TO BERMUDA

Category 4 Hurricane Bill is 300 miles across and heading for Bermuda.

The forecast track will keep Bill north of the Lesser Antilles and heading between Bermuda and the North Carolina Outer Banks, over the weekend.

Bill is forecast to head in the general direction of the Canadian Maritimes late in the weekend or very early next week.

300 YEARS PLANNING THE NWO

That's right - since the 16th century (at least) a very small group of people has been planning to eventually own the entire planet.

Andrew Gavin Marshall has written a series of four articles - only just released on the web - that fully explains what's been going on.

From control of emperors (Napoleon) toi monarchies to governments to free trade agreements and international bodies like the United Nations (and the World Health Organization) ... the shadowy hands have been at work behind the scenes.

Lincoln has never been credited with the power of prophetic vision (except just before his assassination) but those statements surely summarize what has happened to the United States. It too is being assassinated.

How is it that so few have been able to hoodwink so many?

ICELAND GIVES BANKERS THE COLD SHOULDER

That's right - if the bankers are going to be undone, what Iceland is doing may just be the tip of the iceberg (poor pun...but timely).

They're saying they were conned into debt, that crooked bankers sold them down the river, and that future repayments (if any) should be tied to Gross Domestic Product.

The bankers hate that, because it means if there's no increase in productivity, they don't get paid. So they want 5.5% interest, regardless of productivity. They get money for nothing - and Icleanders get nothing for their money.

(At time of writing, this subject is being debated in Iceland's Parliament (Althing) - so there's still time for some BIG pressure to be put on various parliamentarians to vote this thing down...and leave Iceland billions in debt for years to come).

But here's a question: What makes interest on a debt so sacrosanct that it MUST be repaid...or you lose your car...your house...your crops...your business...even an entire country...

How is it that a VERY SMALL number of people can wield so much power from behind the scenes...and get away with it?

MERCURY IN FISH - LEAD IN CHILDREN

WASHINGTON — "A federal study of mercury contamination has found the toxic substance in every fish tested at nearly 300 streams across the country, a finding that underscores how widespread mercury pollution has become.

"The study tested thousands of fish from 291 streams nationwide from 1998 to 2005. "The main source of mercury in most of the streams is emissions from coal-fired power plants. But at 59 waterways, mining could also be to blame.

BEIJING "Authorities have closed a smelting plant in northwest China's Shaanxi province following a protest by villagers upset over the lead poisoning of more than 600 children - including one attempted suicide.

"Hundreds of residents who live around the Dongling Lead & Zinc Smelting Co. in Baoji city stormed its plant Monday morning, breaking through the factory gates and damaging at least 10 trucks and other vehicles....

(And we should trust someone who (WHO) tells us we should vaccinate our children with untested products that contain mercury - that causes brain damage - and aluminum, and squalene - and even live viruses?)

Or should we just "follow the money" and forget about ethics.

TAMIFLU GETS LIFE SUPPORT

The World Health Organization has suddenly decided that the so-called anti-viral drug Tamiflu can be stored for an extra two years beyond its initially designated shelf life.

Associated Press is reporting from GENEVA — that "Authorities including the World Health Organization have decided to extend the medicine's shelf life by two years to fight the swine flu pandemic."

Tamiflu was produced around the time it was feared that Bird Flu was going to be a pandemic.

But that fizzled out, amid reports (from Japan last April) that Tamiflu wasn't doing much good anyway - and in fact was causing serious reactions among young people...including attempted suicides.

Nevertheless, the World "Health" Organization - which numbers among its "expert authorities" representatives from most if not all of the major drug companies, has chosen to ignore such reports and has given the kiss of life to Tamiflu for at least another 24 months.

It'll be interesting to see if the side effects are the kiss of death for more young people....

INTERNET ALTERNATIVE TO MSBS
