The Money Worry Fog September 04, 2008 |
Greetings from Michael Knight, Editor, Earth Change Report
This issue deals with world economics - because it seems to me that money worries are the last thing we need when we're trying to prepare for Earth Changes. So let's put those worries to rest. If there are 1000 people writing about the economy there are 1000 different points of view. Similarities exist, and it comes down to two schools of thought - both of them apparently operating in a fog. And that's what creates problems for us personally. Who do we take seriously, let alone believe? Do we just wait till we too are enveloped in this fog of confusion, or do we take steps right now to avoid the worst case scenario - which would be akin to hitting the rocks, breaking apart, and going under in those cold dark waters.... Frankly, it looks to me like there's an awful lot of confusion out there. The danger is that it will spawn so many different opinions in the media that the average person will simply be more and more confused - and consequently, take no personal action at all. Take this article as an example of saying much but saying nothing. Stephen Clayson in the Resource Investor out of London gathers a range of statistics to tell us...what? "...the Federal Reserve’s aggressive rate cutting as the credit crunch developed helped the U.S. economy... "...If inflation in the US carries on rising then the Fed will at some point have to act, potentially sabotaging US prospects of economic recovery." (He's totally missing the point. It was rate cutting that fueled the sub-prime debacle in the first place; it was the Fed that sabotaged the economy ..starting with its establishment in 1913....but why worry about mere facts and details?) And from the Director of Finance online": "A new report by Housing Predictor out in the US today says the deflating U.S. housing market won't trigger the national economy to fall into an overall economic depression. "The epidemic of foreclosures has topped 3-million units nationwide since the housing crisis started more than a year ago. "Signs of an improving housing market are beginning to appear, and should become apparent in 2009 in the majority of housing markets. "The crisis in the commercial real estate market is only beginning to unfold." Three million foreclosures is a sign of an improving housing market in 2009(?) while the "crisis in the commercial market is only beginning to unfold?" Sounds like double-speak to me. And Britain has its woes as well. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Alistair Darling: "... the economic times for Britain were ‘arguably the worst they’ve been for 60 years’. He went on to say that the crisis ‘is going to be more profound and long-lasting than people thought’." Let's not forget the European Union. "Quarter-on-quarter declines in growth of 0.2 in the eurozone and 0.1 percent in the wider 27-country European Union have fueled fears the bloc will slide into full-blown recession." Meanwhile, South Africa is bracing for a "sub-prime" impact. "Scenario planner and economist Clem Sunter (says) that America is in a hard times scenario, and it seems like their recession is starting to spread like a virus... "He points out that the fact that Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, with combined mortgages of an estimated $5.5-trillion, went belly up and needed to be saved by government should make people realise something dramatic is going on. "The question is can America have a private recession or will it spread like a virus. Well, it seems like it is spreading," he said, noting that the UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling said recently the UK situation is the worst in 60 years — with house prices down on top of the Northern Rock debacle. "... we're in the age of turbulence, which we haven't been in for 30-40 years." " That turbulence is now very evident in the points of view being expressed in the media. Some say it's good. Some say it's bad. Some say much and say nothing. Which brings us back to basics. While "they" do their scenarios, trying to choose between the possibility of boom times ahead or a likely recession/depression (and if you haven't seen that happening, where have you been?) we have to do our own personal forward-looking scenarios as well. What really matters is that we see the fog, hear the fog horns - but know we have already charted a course that will ensure our own safe passage. It's a very personal thing. It means we can't depend on others to sail our ship. As Shakespeare (and my father) would say: "I am the captain of my ship, the master of my destiny." What we need is information first, a range of choices second, and the will to set our own course by making some serious decisions. It's amazing how making a decision (and I would suggest it should have everything to do with being prepared for anything that's hidden in the fog) can clear away our doubts and foggy thinking. It's far better to make things happen than to find yourself standing there in a daze asking "what the...happened?" That's why I wrote my eBook, "Earth Changes - Mind Matters." I have been glued to your e-book for the past few hours and I loved it. Thank you for all your wonderful advice which is so succinct. – Diane, New Zealand. It not only reveals the unseen hand that has engineered today's economic crises, it also includes information you will never see in the mainstream media - (I know, because I was a mainstream media professional for decades). Further, "Earth Changes - Mind Matters" doesn't just look at escalating economic and Natural disasters. It explains by drawing on scientific sources, what we can expect from Solar Cycle 24 - possibly the disruption of all your electrical systems and services. And there is much much more about Earth Changes. Serious changes. I commend you for a great job. It will really help and enlighten people in proceeding forth with their preparations. I can only hope many thousands of people will be smart enough to read and heed your counsel in the ebook. Jim Farley. United States. And then, it offers solutions - most important among them being an explanation of how you can literally use your mind (once you have the knowledge) to create the best of all possible futures for yourself and your loved ones. If you doubt that - well, there are genuine personal examples in the book of how it can be done. In my case, it was a total shift from city life and dependency to complete self-sufficiency on a farm in the country. Yep - I was using the secret behind that modern docko called "The Secret" long before that DVD was even thought of. PLUS the "Mind Matters" speakers in the eBook are just brilliant in their coverage of how you can use that knowledge to your own advantage. Lastly - if that sounds like a blatant plug for my eBook, you can see it like that if you wish. Or you can ask yourself - how much do you need the information in this book (buy it here) which will help you get safely through the fog...beyond economic worries...beyond even the Earth Changes....
Sincerely. Michael Knight. Feel free to pass this newsletter on. You can subscribe to Earth Change Report here. Buy "Earth Changes - Mind Matters" here." The "Basic Preparedness Home Study Course" is here. And the DVD "Contact Has Begun" that started it all, is here.
