Predictions - Forecasts - 2010 - 2012

Yet another Magnitude 5.0 earthquake has happened only 35 miles from the Chilean city of Concepcion today. That city was moved dramatically - and much of it severely damaged - by the recent huge earthquake that has been followed by hundreds of big aftershocks.

There was also a 4.9 earthquake, offshore Maule, Chile this morning.

On the opposite side of the planet, two 'quakes at Mag 5.6 hit China's Xizang-Qinghi border region this morning as well. And two earthquakes measuring 5.7 and 5.5 have jolted the Tibetan Autonomous Region.

These are the reasons why we encourage you to get serious about being prepared for catastrophe to strike.

It's not that we want to spread "doom and gloom" - it's really the opposite. It's because we care - and we know that those we have relied on in the past to tell us what to expect, are simply not doing their job - because they don't know for sure.

Therefore, it's a matter of using as many sources as possible (and ECR is only one of them) to get an idea of what's up - and then plan your own preparedness and survival strategy.

What we do here is research (daily) a host of sites and sources that relate to earth changes in one way or another. This is not a new thing either, since a personal interest in earth changes started at least 20 years ago - and many of the so-called "prophecies" back then, have since become realities.

The Earth Change Report premise is that Terra is a living organism in its own right; that catastrophic events have certainly happened before, so there's no reason to think they won't happen again - in our lifetimes. Like, now.

Say After Me - "Eyjafjallajokull"

Two hundred years ago a volcano with an almost unpronounceable name (Eyjafjallajokull ) erupted in Iceland. That was followed by the eruption of another one, called Katla - and Katla is a volcano that sits under an enormous ice cap. "If it erupts, it could cause disastrous flooding for both Iceland and neighboring nations."

Worse yet, it happened 200 years ago, and the resulting effect on the jet stream was to "cause(d) a change in the weather pattern. When gases were released into the air, they froze, created smog, and drifted across the globe in the jet stream.

"The volcano is blamed for famine, for killing crops, for killing people with gas poisoning. Some even blame the Laki volcano eruption for the cold winter experienced in The United States in 1784 that froze the Mississippi near New Orleans."

You might care to note that Benjamin Franklin wrote about those winters and weird weather at the time. And that every time that the Eyjafjallajokull volcano has erupted, Katla has too. So it could be just days or weeks before it happens again.

Prophecies - Intuition

Now back to those forecasts, prophecies, expectations we heard of 20 years ago....

Among them were suggestions that islands would disappear (see below) because of rising sea levels, and there would be increasing earthquakes and volcanic activity.

We can't deny the fact that they are all happening now. So it's time to quit with the "not in my lifetime" attitude, and face reality. Then make your own choices. Wisely.

More recently, directing the documentary "Contact Has Begun" opened my eyes (and mind) to the truth that Terra is in peril (but not as much as we are, if we continue to ignore what's happening).

Multiple dead zones in our oceans, endless wars, increasing volcanic activity on land and in the oceans, the inevitable stalling of the Atlantic Current and its immediate effect on the climate in Europe, not to mention the way the sun and the solar system are behaving ....all combined to spur me into starting Earth Change Report. Not for me. For those who don't have the time to do all this research themselves - but who do have an inkling that things ain't right...

If you're not familiar with Ascended Masters or channeling - or even the psychic intuition that some people have - then forecasting earth changes might look like it's sort of science fiction - but then when you have killer 'quakes in Haiti (over 200,000 dead) and Chile, within just weeks of each other, you find yourself suddenly looking at science facts.

What the day before you might have scoffed at if someone said "almost a quarter million people will die in a 'quake tomorrow" has become a horrible reality.

Which brings us to.....

Predictions Zetas and a Ning Blog

Personally, I find caution to be the best watchword when presented with non-traditional information sources.

Nevertheless, if one is open-minded as well, then a blog like "Earth Changes and The Pole Shift" is a place where the mind can be well stretched.

Lately it has carried posts about Planet X - which according to their friends the "Zetas" is now within our solar system and causing quite a lot of perturbed (and perturbing) behavior on Earth and elsewhere.

This link is to a post there which suggests there is about to be some super-major activity affecting South America.

Keep in mind that it's natural for us humans to prefer information that fits what we already believe in - and to reject what contradicts our established ideas. So perhaps we need to be prepared to change our minds (accept new info - with an open mind) just as much as we need to be prepared for earth changes too.

Off-world Info/Prophecies

Youtube includes a number of videos about 2010 (to 2012 and beyond) prophecies. It too seems like another great source of "off world" info.

One particular clip has a rather stirring message about 2010 (not 2012). They say "In 2010, anything that you desire strongly will manifest in your life.

"There will be a number of people who will increasingly be aware of a longing within themselves for more

"Souls will be stirring that have not been awake for many many lifetimes

"In 2010 it will become harder to hide truth. Transparency will become the watchword of the times.

"The world is full fat and over-ripe with juicy secrets now,

"These will seep pop and explode onto the world stage this year.

"2010 will be the year conspiracy theorists will say "I told you so."

"Much will come to the forefront that was hidden in the past, including such areas as UFO's, psychic phenomenon, healing miracles and government cover-ups."

Island Disappears

AP reports that in the Bay of Bengal a low-lying island, two miles long by a mile wide, has disappeared into the sea. Or at least, it is now covered because the sea has risen enough to submerge it.

India and Bangladesh had been arguing over its ownership for 30 years. But now it's gone.

And although the sea is only rising ever so slowly at present, it will not be long before it encroaches on the mainland where millions of people will lose their homes and their livelihood (such as it is in one of the poorest countries in the world).

Martial Law - NOT!

A report that looks at "The Shape of Things To Come" foresees a raft of major events in the coming months, including attempts by "The Powers That Be" (TPTB) to pass laws prohibiting certain content being propagated on the Internet. Especially that which is critical of those currently in authority.

Surprisingly, it does not see martial law being imposed in the United States. But there's a cunning reason why. Let's call it "de facto martial law" - because apparently the plan is to create a lot more "crimes" by passing laws that must be dealt with in civil (not military) courts of law. BUT - troops will still be deployed to "support" cops and riot squads in the event of "civil unrest."

Remember we mentioned in "Contact Has Begun" that scientists were concerned that the Atlantic Current might stall? Well, this report foresees something along those lines affecting us later this year. Is that when I should say "I told you so."?

It's not a document for the faint hearted, because it suggests that some really scary scenarios are up ahead, including social and geological earth changes developing over the next 10 or 12 months, among them even more huge earthquakes.

A lot of this is expected to come to a head after July 2010 - at the same time as the US and world economies continue their nose dive. Millions are expected to lose their jobs (if not their lives) - and a backlash against bankers and Wall Street is seen as inevitable. (Death on the horizon?).
